Straight answers
What SIGNAL is, and is not.
It is not a lead-gen list. Every posting is a real public bid or tender from a real public buyer, with the closing date and the source link. Nothing is resold, and nobody else is charged for the same "exclusive" lead.
It will not win the work for you. SIGNAL finds the table; you still have to bid. What it removes is the hours of checking portals, and the sick feeling of finding the perfect job two days after it closed.
It fits some trades better than others. Public buyers tender whole jobs, so general contractors, civil and road work, underground servicing, grounds and site services see the most direct postings. Interior finishing trades are usually hired by the winning GC, not tendered directly, and will see fewer matches. We would rather tell you that here than after you sign up.
It covers what it can read, and says so. Some provinces publish on portals whose rules turn automated readers away (Alberta Purchasing Connection, BC Bid), so SIGNAL does not read them, and Calgary and Quebec are not covered yet. The coverage pages list every source by name, live.
